First Secretary of the Embassy of Japan in Vietnam meets the IWRP’s leaders on the occasion of ending his working term

On March 18, 2021, the IWRP’s Directors received Mr. Hiroshi Matsuura, First Secretary of the Embassy of Japan in Vietnam on the occasion of ending his 3-year-working-term in Vietnam.

 

Attending the meeting were Mr. Do Van Thanh – IWRP’s Director, Mr. Thai Gia Khanh – IWRP’s Deputy Director and some IWRP’s representatives and specialists. At this informal meeting, Mr. Matsuura recalled his deep impressions and memorable memories with the Institute during his term in Vietnam. Mr. Do Van Thanh highly appreciated the activities led and supported by the Embassy of Japan's and Mr. Matsuura personally over the past 3 years. On behalf of the Institute, Mr. Do Van Thanh congratulated Mr. Hiroshi Matsuura on fulfilling his duties in Vietnam as the First Secretary of the Embassy of Japan and thanked his personal support to the agriculture sector of Vietnam in general and to the Institute of Water Resources Planning, in particular.

 

 

In turn, Mr. Matsuura also expressed his sincere thanks and best wishes to the Institute's leaders and all staff, especially on the coming 60th anniversary of the establishment of the Institute. He hopes that the Institute of Water Resource Planning will continue to support his successor in the coming time and maintain a strong cooperation between the two sides.
