Invitation to Participate in the e-Asia Project Workshop: Advancing Water Management Platforms in Asian Deltas

The e-Asia project, titled "Development of Machine Learning and Remote Sensing-based Water Management Platform for Sustainable Agriculture in Asia Deltas (MARSWM-ASIA)", is hosting a workshop on March 15, 2024, in Hanoi, Vietnam. The workshop is a collaborative effort between Niigata University, Kobe University, Kindai University (Japan), IPB University (Indonesia), and the Institute of Water Resources Planning (Vietnam). Funded by the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST), Vietnam Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST), and the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) (Indonesia), the project aims to develop an integrated and smart water management platform for Asian deltas, with a focus on Japan, Vietnam, and Indonesia.

Workshop Objectives:

The primary objective of the workshop is to disseminate the outcomes of the MARSWM-ASIA project and highlight advancements in water management platforms for Asian deltas. Furthermore, the workshop seeks to promote the application of innovative technologies such as remote sensing, mathematical modeling, and artificial intelligence in water and disaster risk management.
