On January 5, 2023, the IWRP held their 2022 year review conference and deployed the tasks of 2023. The Conference was chaired by Mr. Do Van Thanh - Director General. Attending the conference were representatives of the Directorate of Water Resources (DWR), including Mr. Le Hung Nam - Director of the Department for Water Resources Management and Rural Drinking Water Supply, Mr. Nguyen Huu Phu - Chief of Office of DWR. All the IWRP's employees attended the Conference through two forms, face-to-face and online.

At the meeting, a summary of the activities was presented, reflecting many difficulties and challenges in the first 6 months due to lock-down and other subjective and objectives reasons. However, the Institute has overcome and made their determination and efforts to fulfill their set tasks. The contents of planning, baseline survey, water quality monitoring, water source forecasting, reservoir regulation consultancy, scientific research... and many other tasks were completed on schedule. .

Concluding at the Conference, Mr. Do Van Thanh emphasized In 2022, the IWRP faced many difficulties but the joint enormous efforts of every and each unit and employee have help them make a good year at the end with a lot of appreciation from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the DWR, the Vietnam Disaster Management Authority (VDMA) and other ministries, organizations and provinces for their works in irrigation and disaster prevention nationwide. In 2023, the IWRP sets their determination to continue reforming the organizational structure, applying a strict management and work supervision procedure, improving the quality of work through self-innovative, self-trained, self-improved efforts by each employee to meet current practical requirements.
