In a pivotal stride toward environmental stewardship, the Institute of Water Resources Planning (IWRP), recently concluded its on-site training week. Under the guidance of expert trainers from HKV lijn in water and Studio Flow - River & Water Management Consultancy, and with the generous backing of Nuffic, the training welcomed a diverse cohort representing national and regional government entities, universities, and NGOs.

Instead of traditional classrooms, the participants were immersed in the natural splendor of Xuan Thuy National Park. There, they witnessed the integration of nature conservation, aquaculture, and flood protection, which provided them with tangible outcomes for their studies

The event concluded with a relaxed symposium, which provided a forum for reflection and celebration. Esteemed representatives from government ministries MARD and MONRE, along with Willem Timmerman from the Dutch embassy, joined in commemorating achievements and engaging in fruitful discussions on sustaining momentum for Nature-Based Solutions (NBS) in Vietnam.
