Participating in the council were Prof. Dr. Tran Viet On - Vietnam Irrigation and Drainage Association as Chairman of the Council, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Quang Trung - Vietnam Commission on Large Dams and Water Resources Development as Vice Chairman of the Council; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Tien Giang - Hanoi National University as Reviewer; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Thi Huong Lan – Thuy Loi University as Reviewer, and Dr. To Van Truong as Independent Expert. The acceptance meeting also had the presence of representatives of the Vietnam Academy for Water Resources, the Department of Science, Technology and Environment - Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development; Leaders of the IWRP; and the Departments of Science and Technology of Techno-Economic Sectors, Planning and Finance and Office of the State-level Key Programs under the Ministry of Science and Technology.

After the presentation of the research managers, the members of the Council gave comments on the issues that need to be supplemented and completed, and shared their thorough assessment on the implementation of the topic. Most of the comments praised the topic for its meticulousness and details. This is a research of great practical value in preventing and controlling floods and inundation for the Bui river basin and surrounding areas. In addition, the research results have been reported and approved by the Hanoi Municipality People's Committee and its Department of Agriculture and Rural Development. However, the chairman of the Council and the participants also discussed and pointed out some specific suggestions for further clarification, revision and refinement.
Speaking at the conclusion of the acceptance meeting, Prof. Dr. Tran Viet On - Chairman of the Council acknowledged the efforts and efforts of the research managers. The Acceptance Council unanimously approved the research at the Pass level; at the same time, the Council also proposed the research team to fulfill the required corrections upon comments by the Council and transfer the products to the relevant agencies for further application in practice.
