1) Basin management tools and mathematical models:

· Basin management: Red-TwoLe, MIKE BASIN.

· Water balance models : MITSIM, MIKE BASIN, MIKE SHE, WEAP and RIBASIM.

· Optimization tools: GAMS, LINGO.

· Hydrodynamic models : MIKE 11, DELFT 3D, TELEMAC, MIKE FLOOD, SOBEK, VRSAP, MIKE 21, MIKE 21FM and MIKE 21C, HEC-RAS.

· Hydrological models: MIKE SHE, SWAT, SPHY, HYPE, IFAS, TANK, NAM, VIC, HEC-HMS and HYMOS.

 

2) GIS, remote sensing technologies:

· Remote sensing for water management: Sentinel, Landsat, MODIS, Proba-V, VIIRS, Jason, PlanetScope, TRMM, GPM, ALOS.

· Tools and software for interpreting, analyzing and calculating remote sensing data:  MAPINFO, ARC GIS, QGIS, GRASS GIS, ENVI, ERDAS, Python, R, Google Earth Engine (GGE).

 

3) Technology, equipment for measurement and monitoring (water quality, survey):

Equipment for conducting research, performing calculations and preparing documents:

· Investigation equipment for topography, geology, hydrology and water quality surveys: theodolites of various kinds, leveling machines, depth sounders (HONDEX-PS-7), geo-physical machine Geska (Russia), manual driller (Hungary), and GPS (USA).

· A modern laboratory for water testing, equipped with:

¨    Conductivity meter LF196 (WTW-Germany);

¨    pH meter 744 (Metrohm-Swiss);

¨    Dissolved oxygen (DO) equipment YSI 55 (YSI - USA);

¨    Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD) equipment TS606/2 (WTW-Germany);

¨    Microscope ATC2000 (Leica - USA);

¨    Colony bacteria counter (Leica - USA).

· Drone/flycam for topographical and water resources surveying and monitoring: DJI Inspire 2, Zenmuse X5S and associated software.
